hemostatic blood stoppers for first aid kits

these are amazing products that have been improved for battle field use. I put some in my first aid kit and am going to get an extra pack for my car kit.. The videos are graphic but show you how to use the products. The gauze can be used for burns too.. They are not cheap but can save a life in the case of a major arterial bleed from trauma.. Amazon carry all the products plus another called quick stop for people allergic to shellfish. These celox products should bot be used by people with seafood allergies.

The gauze can be used for burns.. remember a tourniquet is only to be used as a last resort..

I keep this stuff in my med kit and my range bag along with pressure bandages. Its not cheap but it might save the day.

Good videos I didn't know quickclot no longer produced heat. I've been menaing to pick some up for my organization's chainsaw unit.

To me the celox technique looks more simple. Also, another minor point with the gauze would be the danger of dragging all kinds of debris into the wound while packing. If this is a SHTF then sterile/aseptic technique become more important.
